To whom it may concern,

I am a 16 year old student in Toronto and I am not a religious person. I would like to give my condolences to the Muslim community on the account of the horrific terrist attack on the uebec mosque where 6 people were killed. I would like to let the Muslim community know that they are loved and appreicated here in Canada. I aploggize for all the people who let xenophobia and Islamiophobia cloud their judgement concerning the Muslim community. Muslim is not synonymous for “terroist”, and being a Muslim does not make you any less Canadian. Something that is “Uncanadian” is discriminating against people on the basis of race, sex or religion. I cannot imagine how hard it must be to watch terrible things like this happen to your community all over the world and I hope you stay strong because I believe things can and must get better.
