To whom it may concern,
I am a 16 year old girl, who was raised in a Catholic family, although I am now agnostic. I am writing this letter to you to send my support in these tough times. Sometimes you may feel as though you are not welcome, but I am writing this letter to tell you that you are not alone. In Canada, all religions are welcome and celebrated, although it may not feel like this after the events of last night (the 29th of January), but I am encouraging you to stay strong. I believe that the future is a bright place, where people of all religions will feel love and welcome not only in Canada, but all over the world. In order for that to happen, we must support one another when we are in need of it. This letter is to show my support for you and everyone who has found themselves discriminated against due to race and/or religion. I would like to let you know that you are loved and cared about. Stay strong.
-sincerely anonymous
