2nd Juma.
Time it starts: 1:35 PM.
Time of my arrival: 2:05 PM.
Walking towards the masjid. Cursing myself. Kicking myself.
Why you always late bro? As I get to the masjid, the Imam comes out.
Imam: They already started praying.
Me: Oh. They did?
Imam: Yes. Hurry.
The first rakat was already done. Great! I briskly walk over. I didn’t bother going inside the masjid, it would probably be packed. There is a little structure built outside on the back of the mosque. I take my shoes off but then notice a tarp all over the shoe rack so I just drop my shoes on the muddy ground.
